My DH and I mark the preregistration appointment as the mark where the name can't be changed. So in an hour my DD will have the saphyre rayne. No changing it now lol. This also marks the fact she's almost here yay!!!!!!

Why couldn't it be changed when you fill out the b.c. Form?

Here the b.c. Form is part of preregistration.

Huh, we would have had issues since we never knew the sex before birth, lol.

I would NEVER fill out the birth certificate until AFTER baby was born. Ultrasound is not always accurate. I know for a fact! I would not be ok with the hospital requireing that

If I have a girl her middle name will be Rayne too. :) And that is weird that they make you give their name and everything.

That is odd that they ask for the name... I literally just got finished preregistring online and they didn't ever ask anything about the baby, other than expected delivery date.

Surely you could still change it if you changed your mind, right?

That seems odd. I've never heard of that. What if you don't know the gender or they told you the wrong gender. Seems like there could be problems.

I actually asked about what if the gender is wrong and things like that and they said the paper work can be changed.

Interesting!  I have never heard of a hospital do that...but, how exciting that your LO is almost here!
