Is this normal?!

I'm almost 16 weeks and I feel like I'm having period cramps. They aren't like the ones I had when I would have a period but feel similar just not as painful. Is this normal or should I be worried?

If you have a small body frame, you're most likely experiencing Braxton-Hicks contractions. It is very common for them to start this early, most mom's don't feel them this early, but it depends on the person. If they get painful, or super regular, you should get concerned. If they aren't regular (you can't time them) just wait until tomorrow and call your OB just to check. But you shouldn't worry about it, it's pretty common.

I agree with phreddy...most likely braxton hicks...
some people will claim they are NOT real contractions...but they are...they just aren't dilating you. But other than that they are exactly like real contractions
