Positive opk while breastfeeding?!?

My husband and I are wanting to trying for our second child I've been using opks since Sunday when I was having mild cramping and a little bit of ewcm well today I had one test left and decide to use it and it came back super dark within seconds my son is 8 months old and still nurses regularly and I haven't had pp af yet at all so I'm hoping to catch this first egg ....how long after a positive will I ovulate and how do I know when to take a hpt if I haven't had a period???

I think it's 24hrs. But keep in mind opks don't tell you if you actually drop an egg. Only temping will do that at home.

With my first ever opk experience, I got a positive Sunday afternoon, dtd Monday night. I'm 8weeks pregnant now. Hth!

Exactly how do I temp and what should I like for?

I'm no expert on temping. Id Google it for more reliable info than i can give.

You cannot get an accurate temp reading while bfing if you still night nurse. :/
