This may sounds stupid, but it confuses me sometimes. If im 16wks & someone ask how far am I and if I prefer answering in months. IS IT CORRECT TO SAY I'M 4 MONTHS?

Just a note, if you go by 4 weeks = 1 month, you will be 10 months pregnant by the time you get to your due date :) I found that people are very confused by that and think you're super overdue!

This breaks down weeks, trimesters, and months. You're actually pregnant for 10 months but most people don't realize that so they have it broken up into 9 months.

A normal month isn't exactly 4 weeks long anyway :)

no. not all months have 4 weeks. If every 4 weeks counted as a month, pregnancy would only be 36 weeks, not 40.

count weeks by every Tues (or whenever). and count months by every month on the 18th (or whenever). It's less confusing than trying to go back and forth between the two.

I tell them the weeks, and if they ask why, I try to explain to them that it goes according to the menstral cycle, not the actual month calendar. And I tell them that the baby grows so much that they really go by weeks
