worst baby apt ever. freaking out.

I am 24 weeks pregnant. I went in 4 weeks ago for my regular ultrasound. They said something was potentially wrong with my baby's heart. The tube was measuring small. So she scheduled an appt today, 4 weeks later for another sonogram. Today they tell me my baby's arm and leg bones are measuring small but the heart is okay. My Dr is sending my to a specialist in Wichita but they can't get me in for another three weeks. She said down syndrome is a possibility but not for sure on anything

Has anyone had any experience with this? I can not go off of only that info for another three weeks I am freaking out and so scared. Idk anything about down syndrome or any of that, which I will be looking up, but just wanted to see if anyone had any advice or personal experience on what this all could mean? Thank you.

Idk but I'll keep you in my.prayers! I know how hard the waiting game is. At 20 weeks they thought.they saw something on my scan I had to wait 3 weeks to see a specialist and then they told me what was wrong and I had.to wait another 4 weeks before I could get.my questions answered. Im 28 weeks and even now we are waiting to know anything more definate. Just don't hold it all in, let your support system know how your feeling amd handling things.

I don't know. But i got sent in at 35 weeks because my baby was measuring almost a month behind in growth. She's fine. Just very small. She's 2 and the size of a 12 month old. She just barely hit 20 pounds. There's nothing wrong with her.

These ultra sounds can drive you batty. Try your best to remain calm, far to many times it's just a false alarm.

Did you do the blood work for downs or the neck scan where they measure baby's neck if not request to have them done

Is there any possibility that you can do another ultrasound somewhere else? And see what they say.. A second look at the baby at another location wouldn't hurt..I'm just saying...
I will be praying for you and your baby... Stay strong.

Please read my message: a dear friend of mine was told when she was 6 weeks pregnant to abort because something looked wrong with the babies heart, she was told that up until she was 36 weeks pregnant because they thought the baby had Down syndrome among other things, Faithe was born and 3 years later there is still NOT A SINGLE THING wrong with her. They were wrong through out her whe pregnancy, I would get a second opinion and even a third opinion over the next 3 weeks
Best of luck and god bless mama

Did you do any genetic testing? Usually downs is picked up around 12 weeks. Ultrasounds are not 100 percent. I hope it works out for you.
