Pregnancy Pregnancy

Is it normal to have hunger pangs so early on?

I am approximately 6 weeks pregnant, and I start having hunger pangs about an hour after eating rather it is a snack or full meal. Is this normal? I don't remember having these pains in previous pregnancies.

With my son, and now this one, I feel like I'm hungry all the time. There's been a few nights where I've woken up hungry in the middle of the night. I don't indulge most of the time, especially late at night, but I will grab a small snack early in the day.

It is normal. You might want to start eating less food and more frequently. It helps.

Unfortunately, that is usually my first sign of pregnancy!

I have always been starving in very early pregnancy, with both kids.  Don't overdo it though!  You should hardly gain any weight in the first trimester.
