I had my second ultrasound today! I'm measuring at 7 weeks(I had my first ultrasound 2 weeks ago from today and measured 5 weeks 4 days we could only see the yolk sac) anyways the dr said each ultrasound will measure differently by a few days so he said everything is perfectly normal :) we saw the heart beat it was so tiny and so neat! It was 146 :) anyways I go back on July 30 I will be 12 weeks by then an my ob said that'll be the longest appointment about a hour and I will have blood taken. Anyways I'm so super excited that things are progressing well!

Why are they doing so many u/s? Are you high risk?

They've only done two, last time they did one because they wanted to find out how far along I was because my cycle was long I ovulated later, and then this time they wanted to make sure everything was progressing correctly. I go back in 5 weeks but its for my first prenatal appt then he said he will see me every 4 weeks. I don't have an ultrasound scheduled on 5 weeks though. I'm not at high risk by the way.

why are you getting so many ultrasounds? that doesnt sound healthy! i feel bad about having the one gender-determining ultrasound done at 20 weeks. but i cant not prepare.
