Hi, I am experiencing the same thing. I couldn't eat I was weak and exhausted. I was given two different prescription medications and tried everything natural I could of and nothing worked. Finally yesterday I got acupuncture and I feel a lot better. It wasn't a miracle cure but it made a huge difference for me. I was finally able to eat and keep down food. I was also able to play with my son today instead if being bedridden like I've been the last two weeks. I still feel nauseous and have thrown up once since the acupuncture but I am functioning. I hope you feel better soon and if its an option I suggest you try acupuncture.
I woke up this morning feeling horribly sick again. I'm beginning to feel lonely withdrawn and depressed feeling this sick all of the time. I'm sad that I'm too sick to play with my kids or enjoy the summer. I've literally been bedridden for weeks except for yesterday. I've looked around for hypermesis support groups on line but haven't found anything yet. Maybe we could start one on here? I was prescribed zofran and promethazine. They both help to take the edge off but definitely aren't any miracle cure. I've tried every single natural thing I can think of as well with little results. I will say I have been able to keep food Down much better since I had the acupuncture. Anyways I have compassion for all of you who have suffered or are suffering from hypermesis. This is by far the worst I've felt in my life and no one else seems to understand how hard it is to fel like this. It's unrelenting. I guess most people don't understand the different between morning sickness and hypermesis unless they experience it first hand. Ugh!!! :(
