OB's and VBAC's

I am having a hell of a time finding an OB that will be 100% on board with me having a VBAC. I'm going in to a 3rd office this week to talk to a new OB who is a private practice inside the hospital I am delivering at and I feel like it's my last hope. I can't really afford a doula. Has anyone had luck with an OB not giving up on them wanting a VBAC?

They are hard to find. I found mine by asking a midwife group. Often times they know who is more vaginal birth friendly, if you aren't wanting a homebirth. Also some Doulas will take on clients for free when they are just starting out, or have a sliding pay scale. I hope you find someone, I have had 2 vbac's and am gearing up for my third.

Most midwives ONLY deliver at hospitals

Some do. But your standard CNM is a hospital practicing midwife. Nope. Midwives are always cheaper than OBs. Even in the hospital. My second baby was born in hospital with a midwife and my insurance covered 100% of her

Ask for a copy of their policy.
I was put in a bad position about 8 weeks ago, and they wound up calling DYFS and stuff because i refused a repeat.

I have no idea how to help you. My dr is 100% vbac friendly, recommends it. The type of section i had allows me to have a vbac after 2 years.
