taking my breath away.

im 38 weeks. i keep having contractions. but they will not get closer together than 7 min. i have been this way for about 2 weeks. well. . . . today they have litterally started taking my breath away. like right as the contraction starts my chest gets very tight and i can hardly breath. ugh. anybody else have this happen?

I had those kind of contractions with my son. Although, for me, the contractions never really hurt, but they did take my breath away. I started getting them around 30 weeks, he was born right at 40 weeks.

I've had them since around 25 weeks like that

That is totally normal. It could be pre-labor or early labor contractions. If you want to be more comfortable, try acupuncture or an acuppresure massage. Try doing pelvic rocking/tilting while it's happening and in between contractions
