I have had a c-sec before. It was an emergency one due to possible infection.
But now that I'm with my second they will do a schedual c_sec.

My question is will the cut in the same spot as before or make a new insition?
Will it be vertical or horizontal? Or does that depend on the doctor?

I have my apt on the 6th next month so ill ask my midwife then. But I just wanted some opinions or your story...

They cut the same place for both c sections so I only have one scar. Its a horizonal cut.

Three c-sections all horizontal in the same place.

I have had 3 c-sections. All in the same spot (horizontal). My last doctor even improved my scar and made it even.

same incision, it will be horizontal, they no longer do vertical incisions. You don't have to do another c-section if you don't want another one, you can do a VBAC.

It is not cut in the same spot because they'd be going thro scar tissue. I think some women end up w one incision because they cut the other one out. I had 2 diff ones after my second, after my 3rd I only have 1 scar now. They didn't even ask- just cut the others out.
