Pregnancy Pregnancy

I Wish I Was Feeling It...

I'm 19 weeks today and have barely felt any movement. I have felt one kick, and a bunch of little twirls. When I use my doppler, I hear the kicks. I just wish I was feeling them more, because my mom and a few other ladies in my life, were feeling lots of movements in the 18th week. I hope that I start feeling them soon...

When did you start feeling it?

With my daughter I was 20-22 weeks and with this one I was 16-18 weeks when I felt the flutters but no real actual movement that was regular until 26ish weeks

If this is your first then the norm is around 23-25 wks to start feeling movement. This is my third and only had flutters till about 23 wks. Also if you started this pregnancy over weight that will make a difference too. My ultrasound tech that I saw at 20 wks informed me that the majority of babies are not heavy enough till close to 24 wks (1 pound) to really start feeling kicks. Regardless you still have plenty of time and then you will be begging baby to stop keeping you up all night. This little gal keeps me up from 11-4 am. In between I can sleep but am always woken up from the kicks.

Sounds like you could have an anterior placenta.

Every baby is different.  My first 2 I had little movement until the 3rd teimester and with this baby he is either tumbling or I am having hard core BH .

This is my first...I first felt flutters around 15-16 weeks and was occasionally felling kicks/jabs by 17-18 weeks. A 20 weeks it was pretty consistent movement.
