Grocery budget?

DH is complaining about our grocery bills lately, and I don't know what to tell him. I'm not buying a bunch of junk. In fact, I'm spending far less on things like soda. I can't tolerate processed, junky food at all. I'm just eating more! I'm not packing on the weight, just the steady amount I should. It's healthy stuff, for the most part (excluding soft rolled tacos, my current Kryptonite). I think he's forgetting that the same thing happened last time I was pregnant.

Did your grocery budget take a hit with pregnancy?

Not really....we already spend a fair amount with the kids.

Not here. I would bake more if I had a sweet tooth and only asked my husband to get me my random cravings a couple times. He understands what to expect during pregnancy :)

I think for the most part I eat less. Alot of things upset my tummy.

not really... I actually tend to get more frugal when pregnant so my grocery bill actually goes down.

It's pretty much the same just a $25 planned increase. Instead of 50/wk it's 75 or $300mo for 4.5 people.

Not this pregnancy. In fact I need to force feed myself b/c it feels like such a chore to eat with this one. But my others yea the grocery bill did go up a lot.

We're already pretty frugal--DH is self-employed--and I've made cuts everywhere else I can. Food is just not working! Maybe now that I'm feeling better, I can eat a wider variety of foods comfortably.
