I planned on using one with both my kids...DS1 took his from day one and DS2 never wanted one, but not at all against them

No. I didn't for my DS and I won't for this one. I don't want my baby to turn 3 and still rely on the damn thing. Better not to start IMO.

No. Don't want to start a habit I'll likely struggle to stop.

My baby won't take the paci. I tried last night and he gave the "stink face" lol.

Unlikely. I didn't with my daughter (tried but she hated them) so I probably just won't with this one either. I also like that I later didn't have to struggle with getting her to stop using a pacifier.

I used them with my two older children and did not use it with this baby

We'll try them out. But DH and I both apparently hated them when we were kids, so if this baby takes after us we might not use them at all.

Yes, but only got a certain amount of time. My oldest had one, it helped him sleep mostly, and it made me more comfortable with the whole SIDS risk (who knows how much truth is actually to that, but it eased my mind a bit)..but I took it away at exactly 4 months old. Before he really had a good memory or a strong attachment to it. I had one kind of rough night and that was it, he was over it. My two week old has one too, but I usually only give it to him to sleep.
