I am supposed to be on pelvic rest, supposed to take it easy, stay of my feet so that baby isn't pressing on my cervix! But all that sounds comfortable right now is sitting on my birthing ball or laying across it on my knees. Both of which will push baby towards my cervix. I am already really soft, starting to dilate, and my hips feel like they have spread over night!!! (35 wks 2days) Are there any other ways I can sit or lay to help! Laying on my side is fine until I go to move, and then its horrific!!! I just want to be more relaxed and comfy!!

Learn how to do the "log roll" technique. So that when you do need to cgange positions, that you do not place any sheer forces on your pelvic bones and ligaments.

To view video demo of this, google my screen name and choose diastasis recti from the pull down menu.
