No bashing I actually have a good reason, my doctor is leaving from the 18-25. I KNOW if I.just wait it out I will go.into labor during that time. I am 35 weeks (says my ob) but I'm measuring at 38 and when.I go to my Fetal specialist they tell me I'm 38 and my cervix is already softening. I just don't want to have a stranger deliver my baby. Is there any REAL ways I could safely start labor say around the 15th?

You could try walking and sex all the typical things everyone says to do. But if the baby is not ready it just won't happen.

You can try to get things moving with sex, walking, and such..., but you can't safely 'induce' naturally (cohosh, castor oil, etc...). Time is the only thing that really works.

Of the 3 I had in the hospital, only 1 was delivered by my OB. The 1 was only because it was an office of 4-5 OBs that rotated.

Nothing will work unless your body is ready to go into labor.
