That's a tough one, most moms i know who smoked either quit cold turkey or gradually cut them out, im not a smoker my hubby is and chantix works for him but dunno if its safe while pregnant definitely call your ob or a nurse line hopefully someone else will have some good ideas. Good luck!

I smoked and chewed tobacco and quit the day I found out I was pregnant. You just have to put your mind to it, it wasn't that hard for me. I chewed ALOT of sun flower seeds and gum!

I quit cold turkey when I started ttc. It's hard I know but just keep thinking about what it's doing to your baby. Not good. Use that for motivation.

Get some disposable electronic cigarettes to take the edge off for the first few days. njoy are good they are the size and shape of real ones. then gradually ease off of those. Lots of lollipops help too. Its hard quitting but it really is the best thing you can do.

Just ease back. Every time you want one, make yourself wait 20 minutes, then 30 minutes. Etc.

I used the gum when I quit, but I wasn't pregnant at the time.

I quit cold turkey almost 8 years ago. When you decide that your baby is THE most important thing, you can get thru anything.
