Induced by the "shoestring" method??

Anyone have any idea exactly what this entails. All my OB kept saying was, was that's different. Nothing more, nothing less.

I go in tomorrow night after midnight to be induced and I'm scared/nervous.

I had cervidol (sp?) Put in over night and it looks like spore strings. They say most people go into labor from that. It thins out the cervix. I didn't of course and got my ivy of potosin in the morning but nothing worked for me lol.

Maybe they mean the cervidol? It's the only thing I can think of.

They put it on the crevices to "ripping" it. In other words to soften it. Personally, I hated the damn thing but the doctor who put mine is was very rough, the nurse was even upset with how rough he was.
