I had been taking it but my doctor told me to stop taking it right away. He reccomended Prevacid instead. Talk to your doctor about it.

NO!!! Take prevacid or better yet, take Pepcid Max!!! Pepcid max has a 5mg higher dose than prevacid. My OB told me to stay away from prilosec because it is NOT approved for pregnancy. It's a class C.

I don't just get heartburn, mine is caused by excessive stomach acid/acid reflux. Pepcid is the only thing that has stopped me from puking fire!!!!!! & After 6mos of puking fire just about daily, it's a more than welcome relief!!!!

Just relax, & don't take prilosec anymore. Just switch to Pepcid Max since its stronger than prevacid. Call your dr & bring up your concerns to her.

I wouldn't take anything else without consulting with your Dr. The women on here have fantastic advice, but I would go with the advice of your Dr before anyone else. :)

I was just told that it is fine in moderation. Only take it when you really need it
