That we are having a baby girl! She also has a unilateral cleft lip and possible palate too. Otherwise they don't see anything else wrong with her. I am beyond excited about our little girl and that other than the cleft she seems healthy. Things has changed as far as how and where I will give birth now though. I was seeing a midwife and planned to give birth at a birthing center but now I feel it is best to deliver in a hospital with a NICU just so we can be prepared if need be. I see my new doctor tomorrow. Here are a few ultrasound pics from last week.

Congratulations on having a girl! They are a real blessing. She is beautiful already! Glad you are making the switch to a hospital birth just in case!

Congrats on having a little girl! I am sorry to hear about her lip. Hopefully they will be able to repair it easily with minimal scarring. Good luck!

I knew a few kids growing up with cleft lips and such, other than a scar never would've known.
