Ok so I went to the ER today because of cramping no blood though :). Anyways, they did an ultrasound in the exam room do you think if they saw if the baby did not have a leg or something then they would have told me or called an OB specialist to check?  They did not but my ultrasound pictures does not show legs the baby was jerking all around and she did say the legs are bent behind the baby but I can't totally remember and my SIL who went with me does not remember either cause she did not pay to close of attention.  Here are the two pictures from today on looks like a leg at the one end of the picture but I am just not sure.   I should have asked but I was so nervous about my baby I forgot.  Our next ultrasound is not until January 30th.  By the way I am 17 weeks.

The baby was moving a lot that is why they had do an ultrasound they couldn't pick up the HB on the Doppler cause the baby kept moving around.  I thought I saw legs in the one picture but did know if my eyes were playing tricks on me.

I am sure there were legs. If the baby were missing appendages surely they would have told you. That isn't something you just "look over" and go on.  Calm down, and stop stressing :) I am sure all is fine :)

Chill:-) baby looks great, how far along are you? My doc had done an ultrasound since I was 5weeks at every visit. I didn't pick up a heartbeat on my at home Doppler until 8weeks 5days and I had to really press down to find it and even then somedays I couldn't hear it because baby was hiding

That looks like a very normal and healthy baby to me. The first one you can see an arm and a leg, and the leg looks like its in the front where it's supposed to be.

I am 17 weeks last week at my OB appt. we picked up the HB with the doppler with a little searching, but for some reason the ER doctor could not get it on the Doppler she said the baby was moving around to much to get it, but it did not take long to find the baby on the u/s and we saw the little HB flickering :).
