Has anyone had this experience?? When my daughter was about 18mths lots of my friends raved about these seahorses being "The best thing ever" to help soothe and put babys to sleep but since she was a bit older I decided I'd definitely get one next go round.. I brought one a few months ago ready for this baby (due August) and today my friend brought one for her baby (also due August) and I decided to read some reviews online. I WAS SHOCKED!! There are so so many reports of these smoking and melting the plastic thats its very scary! Has anyone had this happen? Or do you have a seahorse thats never had an issue?

Glow worms are the same product just a worm not a horse and I've had one with all my kids and never had issues with either
