Middle Name Pride Day

Today is Middle Name Pride Day.

It's a name that is seldom used (mine wasn't used unless I was in trouble, lol) but it's usually a name that means something special to the parents.

If you have a middle name picked out for this baby, what is it? How did you decide on it?

If you don't have a name picked out but you have other kids, how did you decide on their middle name?

Does your own middle name have special meaning?

Our son's middle name will be Ray, which is my FIL's middle name.

My middle name is the same as my grandma's middle name (Faye). I love it. :)

My middle name is after my great grandma which is fine but I hate it...its Elinor.

I use my son and dd's middle names a lot and not just when they are in trouble, lol. I love their names!

If this baby is a boy his middle name will be Jack or John after FIL. If its a girl, it'll be Laurel after MIL

My son's middle name is Thomas. It's a family name on my husband's side going back quite a few generations. My daughter's middle name will be May in memory of my grandma.

My first son is Tanner Jacob. Jacob is my husband's name - he goes by Jake.

My second son is Breckin David. David is my dad's name and his original due date was also my dad's birthday (though he was born 6 days early).

Both of the names are also biblical, which is a plus, especially for DH's side of the family (bunch of religious ones on that side, lol)

Our 3rd baby, due in May, will be Breanna Madison. There is no special meaning to it..I just have always liked both names. However, we did realize that Breanna is like Tanner and Breckin put together which is neat, and also DH is from Wisconsin, so I think that is why he likes Madison too.

My middle name is Jennifer- no special meaning.
