So, I saw the specialist today.
She does not feel confident with any of the doctors up here trying to get russell the cyst out laparoscopically. She feels it needs to be an open surgery because of how big it is. (it is apparently 13cm by 10 cms is what the MRI showed ultrasound showed 12cms)
The cyst is so big now, and baby Hunter/my uterus is so big that she feels there is no real room for the cyst to twist. She said the pain is probably from it trying to twist but since there is no room it can't.
Since my mother in law will be here for a few weeks around baby Hunter's birth helping clean my house and handling my older son the doctor and I feel it will best to do a c-section and the cyst removal at the same time.
I will be working with my midwife, as well as another doctor to determine the c-section/surgery date but the specialist is hopefull I can wait until 37-39 weeks.
She said as my uterus grows there is a chance of the cyst getting pushed down and blocking the cervix causing an emergency c-section.. And since I will have to be open anyways for a surgery to remove the cyst it is best to just do them both at once.
