Anyone else get sciatica during pregnancy?  I am 38w4d with number two.  Never got it with number one.  How can I ease the pain?

I am only at 16 weeks and have had it really bad, to the point that I had to hav my bf help me get dressed in the morning and help me down the stairs.  I had it for years before I was pregnant as well.  I have been going to the chiropractor.  There are also some stretches you can do too, just look online for sciatica while pregnant.  The only thing about the chiropractor, is because all the hormaones make your joints soft etc, its easy to pop the spine out of alignment again.  I went 5 times in 10 days, but now I have been good this past week.

You could try chiropractor or massage therapy

Visti a good chiropractor. I never use them, but I know somewone who did and she said the minute she got off the table, the sciatica pain was gone.

Yes--   SO AWFUL!
:-(

The chiropractor is an instant fix, worth it!     And then to prevent it happening, consider a lot of pillows (between knees & ankles when side-laying in bed) and padding.
GL!
