I went for my appointment today and got a little surprise! I knew I was getting an ultrasound but I didn't know I was getting a 3d one! They usually do that at like 28-30 weeks but since it's twins they did it earlier. They tried it at 32 weeks with my last set of twins and it was pointless. They were so squished together by that point we couldn't make out anything. lol.
Everything went pretty good today but the doctor is a little concerned because they aren't growing at quite the same rate. One baby is 1 lb 4 oz and the other is 1 lb 14 oz so that is a 30% difference in weight and he said they don't like to see more than a 20% difference with twins. So I have to go to a bigger hospital 2 hours away to get a more detailed growth scan. They wanna check to make sure both placentas are functioning properly and that one baby isn't getting more than the other. I'm a little nervous but trying not to worry about it too much. Hopefully it's nothing!
Here are the pics :D
There are a few where she got both of their faces together. She said that is rare for twins because they are usually not in the right position for shots like that. I love these pics! They were cuddling up together. So sweet. lol
