I will be 21 weeks Sunday and the US tech said there are several holes on the placenta, including a big one. What does this mean?! Will I have her before even 30 weeks?!

An US tech should not be telling you anything like that. What does your OB say?

I've never heard of it before but it's absolutely something to discuss with your doctor. The tech shouldn't be giving out that information.

You need to talk to your dr. I wouldn't have left without an answer.

Has baby's growth been restricted by this? My obgyn told me that the baby only needs 10% of the placenta so if your baby has always measured on track then it's likely not effecting anything. :)

Are baby's measurements on track? Weight? Your doctor will discuss it at your next appointment. If it were something really bad I think the doctor would bring you in Asap.
