My DH doesn't want me to breastfeed

:( he doesn't even want me to try. I tried with our toddler when he was newborn, but I had a spinal headache that went undiagnosed for 4 days. So, I was in too much pain to do anything and we ended up bottle feeding him. When, I would pump, I was lucky to get half an ounce from each side. This time, I really want to make it work. This is baby #4 and my last. I have a few months to try to convince him, but he is really hard-headed.

I get that with parenting things should be 50/50 but if you want to BF then just BF.

Your body, your choice. Plus think of all the money you'll save and all the benefits for you AND baby!

Thanks ladies! It'd be nice to have his support in it, though.

What is his reason?

It was less stressful for him when I dried up. He hated my son's "not the mama" phase because the baby didn't want him. Not that it'll matter much, he's gone 60 hours a week for work. He stays home with me the first week, though.

I'm sorry you don't have his support, but it up to you if you want to breastfeed or not. Maybe explain all the benefits to the baby, beneifts to you, and the fact that you will save so much money, not having to buy formula and all that stuff. I hope he comes around by the time baby comes.
