Wyatt update - Got his surgery week set.. (if all goes well.)
The week of July 4th is hopefully when we'll get Wyatt's bowel surgery done.
He's 3 lbs 10oz today. I personally think he's a blond version of his big sister.
He's on 4.5 percent pressure (down from 5 - when we get him below 3, that's when we can try to breastfed, best case scenario is after his surgery he grows well enough to be almost off that type of lung support entirely though since were looking at 6-8 weeks from now before we can try to breastfeed from a belly standpoint.)
If he continues to grow and heal like this, we are looking at end of sept if he progresses at an okay stomach-rate for healing and eating. But on the longer end of things, probably by halloween.
I'd like to think he'd progress quickly and heal once he's put back together, can get his feeds up to a normal amount, and start breastfeeding. The doctor said once he's closer to going home, they'll get me a private room at the hospital that's on the other side that has a bed/room in facility so I can start taking care of him fulltime at the hospital while we prepare to go home... so i'm used to taking care of any medical needs he may still have and they can see how he does being taken care of with out interventions while they are still there to intervene if he needs help....
he's 33weeks 1d today adjusted age.... or 9 weeks old from birth date.
