You can but it will hurt your supply and baby may get lazy woth the bottle and not want to breast feed anyone.

Many women who supplement end up stopping nursing early because their supply drops too much.  The physiological method around breastfeeding requires that your body make as much as baby needs and when you start giving formula, it tricks your body into thinking baby isn't really nursing much any more and you'll stop making milk.  And like Avetay said, since bottles typically have a faster flow than your nipples, some get lazy and prefer to not have to work ass hard for their meal and will eventually refuse the breast.  That being said, it isn't recommended unless absolutely necessary.

YOu can but it creates a harder time with breastfeeding.  It diminishes supply, baby often gets overfed with formula and doesn't want nurse as often (great for supply!), bottle preference.  If you give formula or any bottle you have to pump for that missed nursing session.

You can, but it has a good chance of decreasing your supply. Your body produces milk based on how much your baby drinks. If you're supplementing, baby won't drink as much, so supply stays low. Why do you want to use formula?

If you can exclusively breast feed, I'd recommend it.
