What -3 means? I went to L&D because I thought I was leaking but instead I was having contractions and the doctor checked me and said I was still at a -3. 39 weeks and I'm having a c-section on the 1st but I really wanted a VBAC but -3 doesn't sound like I'm going to go into labor any time soon so a C-section it is.

There are stages to describe how low baby is. 4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 is better known as on the floor. So yes, you do have a bit to go, but that can change very quickly.
