Unexplained bruising

Over the last couple of days I have noticed a few bruises on my legs and there's no reason for them. I'll probably call the doctor in the morning but until then has anyone heard of this in late pregnancy? I am 37+3

Are you sure they aren't varicose veins? I have a couple vericose veins that showed up during my pregnancy and are blue/gray like bruises.

I've been getting bumps and bruises on my shins for no apparent reason since I got my BFP. My dr doesn't know what could be causing it and referred me to a specialist... I'm 16 weeks now, lol so maybe we're just weird!

To me it was normal through my first pregnancy and now this one. I would barely tap my leg or arm against something and I would bruise very easily, but when I'm not pregnant I do not bruise easy.

It could be varicose veins, or something else related to your blood/bleeding.  Good to get it checked out & keep an eye on it.

Find out what's going on in our journey in my pregnancy journal...

Bruising easily is often a sign of low iron, which is totally normal in pregnancy.

It could seriously be that, and could be caused by something as simple as pulling on tight pants, or bumping yourself on counters.

It could also be veins - not vericose veins so much, just veins showing up. Also normal and they go away when you deliver.
