Dentist and being pregnant .

Can u have dental work done being pregnant ?? I need a bridge. I want to get soon. But idk if I have to wait or it's safe to get it done now .

You can still go to the dentist but there's some stuff you can't do . I have a friend who got her wisdom teeth remove when she's pregnant.

Yes, just make sure they know you're pregnant.

They can do certain things early on in your pregnancy.

Yes, they can do almost anything while you are pregnant. Ask your ob first what's allowed.

Yes, but let them know you're pregnant. There are a few things you can't get done.

It has more to do with what medicines they can give when your pregnant.

I wanted to go to the dentist while pregnant, but I have a mitral valve prolapse, which means I always require antibiotics for dental work... and they dont' like to do that while pregnant unless absolutely necessary, so now that i'm not pregnant, I have to schedule all our dental appointments now.

Yes I have several root canals with last pregnancy.About to have some work done while pregnant this time too.You just need a dr note to give to the dentist
