Some doctors do and other doctors don't.  I always got one in the 6th week.  You'll just have to go and see or find someone who's also used that doctor and ask if that's what he/she does.

probably, because that's how the estimate the due date along with the first day of your last period.

Depends on the doctor. My midwife clinic doesn't usually do routine ultrasounds, but my high risk specialist does.

My local OB - will peek at baby if you want, since he has a portable machine in the rooms. But it's super low quality, and no ability to print a picture.

Depends on the doctor. I had early ultrasounds for my first three pregnancies but my last I didn't get one until almost 18 weeks because I switched doctors.

Usually *and I say they this very loosely, just based on my experience* they do to get any idea of how far along are you
