It goes right threw me.
Back story:
I ended up getting really sick for like a week and a half and I thought I had pre eclampsia. Turns out it wasn't that I spent all night puking because I have gestational diabetes and vitamin d deficiency.

Ever since then I have been having every thing basically go right threw me. I have the shits with each Braxton hicks contraction I have.

Any one else experience this. I'm 31 weeks.

Also baby is measuring 3 weeks ahead I go in tomorrow for an ultrasound and to talk to a specialist. What will more then likely happen? Non stress tests? I know I'll have to go in for more ultrasounds til I deliver.

Dr wants to deliver around 38 weeks due to the gestational diabetes. She's starting to scare me because she was talking about delivering earlier.

Also I'm packing my hospital bag and I was wondering what you mommies put in yours?

Braxton hicks are they supposed to hurt like a real contracton?

Sorry for all the questions me and hubby are fighting over the Braxton hicks hurting so bad because I don't remember them hurting when I was pregnant with my son. He says that they told him they will.

Will update tomorrow after I talk to the specialist. Hope every one has a good night..

I had GD and its important that you check your blood sugar very closely and make sure that you follow your diet.  You definitely need to drink more water and see if it helps with the contractions.  The braxton hicks do hurt, my first it was a killer but it was very sporadic.  If your baby is measuring too large, then you want to make sure that the baby can be delivered safely.  You will probably start stress tests weekly and I started going in 3 times a week after 34 weeks.

I check my blood suger 4 times a day. And I have a book that I write everything down in. They are pretty sporadic but they hurt I try to drink a gallon of water a day. Hubby helps when he gets home here lately since I found out that I have gd he's been watching my intake and making sure I follow a diet.

Good luck with that! Also, pack your own toilet paper. Hospital toilet paper is crazy scratchy.
