24lbs total is still normal.  Maybe your baby has been slow growing and then just had a growth spurt.  Or maybe you are just gonna have a big baby.

Can't say that it's happened to me, I never gained over 15lbs with either of mine, total.

Hope everything goes okay with you.  Just relax, if the doctor didn't see anything wrong with it, then it's fine.

No hasn't happened to me yet but I am sure it will. I lost almost 20 pounds the first 5 months and have gained only 8 of it back so far so i am sure mine will come all at once. One thing to consider is that you haven't gained too much weight in total for the pregnancy. Also if you wear clothing one time that is light (thin tee, shorts, flip flops for example) and then go in the next time in something heavier (tee, jeans, tennis shoes) then you are adding clothing weight. Unless they weigh you in the buff (and some offices do) then you should consider the weight gain might be off by a pound or two. This is just my opinion about something that has happened to me in a previous pregnancy. I wouldn't worry too much about it personally. Good luck momma and have a great weekend.

How`s my pregnancy doing?

LOL, don't freak out.  That's actually pretty normal.  I gained 5lbs every 2 weeks when I was 32 weeks along with my first.  My total gain was 57 lbs.  One of my friends gained 80 lbs and then was right back to being a twig in a couple of months.  It's ok.  I know you probably feel awful and like a cow but just think....All the weight you are gaining in your last weeks is for the baby.  Some is the baby itself and some is fat that will go into your milk to make your child healthy and strong.

If you plan to breast feed the weight will come right off.  Enjoy the time as much as you can.  Just make sure you are making healthy food choices and if you are really craving junk food just eat a serving and not a whole bag.  You will be fine!!

I forgot to tell you.....Even though I gained 57 lbs my daughter was born 10 lbs 22 inches long and 14 inch head.  And man was she a little pudgy thing!  But she was extremely healthy and got an 8 and a 9 on her APGAR's.  Good Luck!

At my previous check up before yesterdays, I had gained 7lbs. in 4 weeks. I couldn't believe it !! I was 25 almost 26 weeks along. My doctor laughed and said, WOW you must be enjoying that ice cream too much. I was kind of taken aback by that, but I said, I guess so. Even though I hadn't had ice cream in 2 months. This happened with my last pregnancy though. I was slow gaining in the first trimester and almost at the end of the 2nd trimester, I finally started putting on weight. I wouldn't worry about 24lbs at 32 weeks. I gained a total of 30lbs. with my last pregnancy. That is the average.
