Hair Dye?

Hey ladies.. I am due soon! I'm very excited and I want to look atleast semi-presentable for the big day lol. All I want to do is dye my hair and get a pedi. Now I know there is nothing wrong with getting a pedi especially since my nail lady comes to my house and I dont have to go to a salon filled with chemicals. My question is... will the hair dye affect the baby in a negative way.. especially this far along in the game?

You are safe to dye your hair after the first trimester. ive done it twice and my baby is a-ok.

nah your fine, just make sure your in a well ventilated area. Nothing wrong with looking pretty for the big day! = )

You and the baby should both be fine! I dyed my hair with my dd when I was about 26 weeks, and the doc said it was fine. I was told just not to dye it the 1st trimester.

Just make sure your in a well ventalated room.

I got my hair highlighted twice and used box color during my pregnancy and my baby girl is perfect. My doctor said it's fine after the 1st trimester and as long as you are in a well ventilated area. :)

Hair dye doesn't get down to the baby. It doesn't enter your bloodstream. As long as the room is well ventalated, you will be fine. I didn't get my pedi before I went into labor and I wouldn't take off my socks...LOL My toes weren't cute and I didn't want people to see my non-cute toes...LOL
