I am 34 and pregnant. The recent Ultra test put me a risk of Down syndrome even though the blood report says it is normal.
I am thinking I would get the Amnicentesis done (seems it is not uncommon these days and my doctor, counsellor suggested too).
I live in San Francisco, Califronia - would truyl appreciate if you can
a) pass on highly recommended / best doctor around here who performs it
b) share your (or any of your friends
) valueable experience
thanks a lot
Susie

If thats the test were they stick a needle in your belly button I say NO b/c there is a chance it could hurt or even kill your baby.My sister in-laws doctor thought her daughter was going to have down syndrome and wanted her to get the test she said no and her little girl is now 5 and perfectly healthty.Im 35 weeks preg. and everythings going good for me but really I would love my baby no matter what . Just think about it if you do get the test and nothings wrong and it hurts ur baby if I was u I would nt get it but its really up to u !!! good luck im sure ur baby is goin to be healthy
