Hey Ladies. I have a question. My daughter is 7 weeks old and on the 4th I went to the docfor my 6 weeks checkup. I am planning on gettting the mirena IUD and I am supposed to call back when my period starts. Doc told me that my period should be starting really soon. So. Sunday I was feeling weird and around 4 pm I went to the bathroom and what i thought to be my period had started. By 10 pm I was no longer bleeding. I called the nurse at my doctors office and she said that for your first period after having baby there's usually a significant amount of bleeding. There is a chance I could be preggo again. I'm showing no signs though. (and i did show symptoms very early with both my babies)
My question is: do you think I could be preggo since I didn't bleed much..or..has anybody else been through the same thing and their period just come a little later?!?!?
I hate to be rude about this but knowing the risk of getting pregnant again right after having a baby were you planning this? Why didnt you use some form of birth controll until you had definitely passed your first ovulation and menstral cycle?
i know that some people want their kids to be very close in age, but it sounds to me like that was not your goal.
It wouldn't bother me at all if I was pregnant again...We weren't trying not to, so...maybe that answers your question..I'm just trying to figure out if that was my period or something else..
