Okay I'm making our official list right now of everything we need to get before the baby comes. Is a nursing bra really necessary? I didn't breastfeed with my first and I don't know anyone who does currently breastfeed so I'm just curious.

if you are not going to breastfeed then i would say no that they are not necessary. they are really only so you van have easy access to your boobs for feedings. IMO

i honestly liked having a nursing bra, especially in public. it was so much easier then having to pull my bras up to try to breastfeed

They are nice to have.  I always used one without the underwire, I find with one was too uncomfortable. They have some at Target that are reasonably priced. Although sometimes rather than unhook it if the bra isn;t padded you could just pull it to the side.
