I am 32 weeks, and here lately I have been having a lot of BH contractions and an increase in pelvic pain to the point where I can barely walk and get in and out of the car. My doctor says my baby is measuring right on and that I should make it to 40+ weeks. I, however, feel like I am going to go a couple of weeks early. Just from the way I have been feeling and talking to others. I could be completely wrong though. My dad and step mom say that usually with your first, you are late. I know it differs from person to person, so I was just wondering if you were early, late, or right on with your first. If you were early, did you have a feeling you were going to deliver early reguardless of what others told you? If you were late, did you need to be induced? Thanks so much!

I was 10 days late with my first, my doctor kept telling me my dates my be off, which I told her she was wrong I knew the day I conceived. So needless to say she really was 10 days late and I had to be induced.

I am pregnant with my first & due today. I started having contractions this morning, but nothing very consistant yet. I had a NST this morning as well, and it measured a contraction on the monitor...but I didn't feel that one! I'm too the point where I am just anxious to meet the little man. Not that I am very uncomfortable, or am having a great deal of pain...I have had a fantastic pregnancy, but I just want to meet him! Hopefullly, he will come and be home by Thanksgiving. I want my grandma's meal, on Thanksgiving, with my entire family AND my new baby...no other way will make me happy! :o)

I was 10 days early with my first and he came on his own. I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow with my 2nd and I'm thinking he may come earlier than that. I've had non stop cramps since this morning, so I talked to my doctor's nurse earlier, and I'm just going to keep up with his movement, since I have a doctor's appointment in the morning. So we will see. You never know you may go into labor early. You are still kind of early to know for sure. My doctor just told me last week at 36 weeks that he didn't see me making it to my due date. Oh and with my first I never had a feeling that he would come early. I was just awake from midnight to 5:00am with pains. I kept timing them but they would go back and fourth to being closer and then not closer. 5 hours of that was enough for me so I went to the hospital about 5:15. They actually wanted to send me home but b/c of the pain I was in they wanted to keep me until my doctor did his rounds at 8am. By that time they had to keep me. And he had to break my water, it didn't break on its own.
