i did my kids every other day unless they really needed it sometimes they do. i think as long as you use lotion every time you should be fine..

My son will be 2 in january. He gets a bath every night. however we don't worry if a night rolls around when he doesn't get one.

Bathing too much is supposed to dry out their skin, even with lotion.  What I do and our pediatrician said I was doing just the right amount is 3 baths a week, but put lotion on everyday.

If her skin seems fine to you, not dried out, then there is no harm in it. Everyone is different. I give my son a bath every night, but he's 20 months old. At 2 months, I'd say I was probably doing it 3-4 times a week, only because he wasn't going any where, so he wasn't really getting dirty. But I always wiped him down with a washcloth at night...

So- again, everyone is different. Everyday might work for you- but I've heard of some people even choosing at that age to do once a week....

yes newborns only need baths every other, to even every 2 nights... ive ALWAYS ALWAYYYSSS been told not to bathe then everynight, they dont need it and even though you put lotion on them it can get uncomfortable for them, ther skin is wayyyyyyy to sensative

we bath our baby every 2-3 days...more if needed.  Generally if she is held by a bunch of other people ( family/friend gathering)  I give her an extra bath.  Even with lotion it can dry a baby's skin esp. in the winter.

When my son was about 2/3 months we started to bath him every night. It was part of his bedtime routine. He would get a bath, I would massage lotion on him, feed him and read/sing to him then put him to bed half asleep. We have been doing that bedtime routine for 5 years now and my son knows when the bath is running it is time to wind down for the night.

I think as long as your child is not getting dried out skin and is not showing any signs of irration that you can bathe as much or as little as you want. It is a personal decision. Babies don't "need" a bath everyday but like with my son we used it as a tool in the bedtime routine. It help relax and soothe him when he was being fussy.

I bathed my son every day since he was a newborn.  Well sometimes we don't get a bath that day, but not often.  I used to just put lotion on him every time I would change his clothes, like in the morning when I change him from his jammies to his clothes and then after the bath.  His skin never got too dry.
