Probably some of you are really sick of these posts, but unfortunatly I don't have many people to complain to (husband already is sick of it!). I'm only 5 weeks pregnant with #2 but already feeling nauseous and having diarrhea. (tmi sorry) I feel like crap today and it's just so hard not to get discouraged and emotional when i feel so icky! I want to go home, but really i know i'm not technically sick just preggo. = / Just trying to tough it out and i haven't told anyone at work so i don't have anyone to talk to at work. So any advice on how you ladies got through this part? Thanks for listening!

You are halfway to feeling better!! Most symptoms start disappearing around ten weeks.

No worries!!

First of all if your not feeling well go home!! So what if your pregnant, your still not feeling well, you wouldnt want a co-worker to stay just cause they were feeling guilty, you will feel better when you take care of yourself! Secondly, the other girl is right, the hard part is almost through... after the first 4 months, I felt so much better, and the first 3 months were really the worst.  Talk to someone at least one co-worker, so you can have some kind of support system !

Im in the same boat!  Im almost 6 weeks and have felt like crap the past few days, no  diarrhea, but still its sucks.  It was good to hear that it is over half way over though.  Hopefully less than 5 weeks of this to go.  Sorry you feel so horrible!

hang in there. i stayed sick until 14 wks . im finally better now.  what i found was sprite helped me and 1-2x a week i would drink mountain dew cause the caffeine made me feel a bit better. I would have coffee in the morning as well cause like i said, caffeine seemed to be the only way i felt semi okay. i was later put on anti-nausea pills but they were not strong enough.  also, doc told me to take flinstones vitamins cause pre-natals made me sick as a dog.    all the stuff people said like ginger, preggie pops etc etc etc etc did not work at all. just caffeine. even drinking water made me naseous.  Stay Strong! It Shall Pass

Thank you ladies for the encouraging words! I'm very excited for this baby, it just sucks feeling like crap and being emotional. I think the fact that i'm emotional makes me more of a cry baby. Maybe I'll leave work a little early i get off around three and it's almost 12:30 so i really feel like i should stick it out... plus I'd be interuppting my sons nap time if i left now. Thanks it really helps to know that others understand!
