I see so many women on here say that pregnancy is 10 months....which absolutely baffles my mind.  Anyways, I was just wondering how many women actually think that so I decided to start a poll. Thanks ladies!

doctors count from the first day of your last period...

like i had my last one in march.. and in april i missed it... so they count pregnancy from the last time your eggs were released.

LOL, I'll tell you how they explain it...they say 4 weeks in a month.....40 divided by 4 = 10....but there's not actually 4 weeks in a month.   BUT, that is how I see sooo many women on here explain that.  Anyways, I just wanted to see if the majority of women believe there's 9 months in pregnancy or 10.

That's my point. A month is not exactly 4 weeks. That's why it's 9 months. Right?

I've always heard that it is actually 10 months but the first month isn't really counted when you think about it. The first month starts on the first day of you last period and within 2 weeks you actually become pregnant. That is how it is always been explained to me.

LMP= last menstrual period.  it starts from the date of your last period...

They don't really count from the first day of your last period. That's just the date they use to calculate your due date.  Like my LMP was July 25th.  But my due date is May 1st.  which is 9 months and like 6 days.....but I didn't get pregnant the first day of my period..which is what those 6 days account for.
