well, my DF has been sick since christmas eve, and he has missed 3 days of work. well his mom is pissed about it (we live with her) and she hasnt talked to him in like 3 days. so w/e but anyways today was his day off so now shes really mad, and he's off tom. too he tried calling his manager to see if he could go in today and tomorrow but she never answered the phone. well we were getting ready to go to the bank today and i was putting my contacts in and i lost one. these are gas perm. contacts and are a special fit, and they cost me like.. $80 for one eye. They had to reorder my right eye which is the one i just lost and they called yesterday saying it came in, but i wasnt here to answer the phone. so i called them today to make the appt. to get my new one and to ask if i have to pay for it now since i lost it and cant give them the old one back. she wasnt sure but shes supposed to call back with an answer. im just so depressed. i dont have the money cuz i dont work, im a full time student and i have $1000 in med bills from june when i had no insurance and ended up in the ER on vacation. so now i might have to pay $80 for something i have already paid for. I was trying to put it in and it fell off my finger and i think it fell between the sink and the tub in a small crevice that you cant really see into or stick your hand in or anything. DF tried to find it but couldn't. =[
well. they got into an argument, and she told him she'd give us $10,000 to move out... real nice huh? i wish my family didn't live 1000 miles away =[ oh and the eye dr's called back, i have to pay for a new contact since i dont have one to exchange out.
Im sorry :(
Tell your hubby not to worry about his mom. Easier said than done, I know but its not his job to please her.
The med bills can wait, if you pay them a little bit each month, they cant send you to collections and no matter what, they cant refuse you service just because you havent paid your bills.
See if you can work out some kind of a deal regarding the lense.
yeah, i've been trying to pay on the bills, i pay $25a month for the actual ER bill and to be honest this is awful but i haven't paid a thing on the actual dr's bill from the ER yet. but the contact i'll put on my credit card. I get money from living expense for school, and my DF can help me out a little even though hes got tons of med bills too. It just seems like everything bad is happening at once and all I want to do is cry. I' just really hoping I don't have to pay again for this contact. But I guess we'll see when they call back.
