How accurate is a ultrasound to predict due date? When did you feel baby move?

Hmm.. I had no way of knowing how far along I was because I never had a period before I got pregnant this time. (Since before I was pregnant with my last...  I had been breastfeeding)  Anyway .. I went in for an ultrasound and according to it I am due Oct 5th which would make me only 12 weeks (13 thursday)  I HAVE felt this baby move. Period.. I kept chalking it up to gas or something.. but this is my third child and I am POSITIVE that I felt it.  I thought that wasn't suppose to happen until at least 15 wks? Did anyone feel baby move earlier?  Or could my due date be wrong?

the reason u can feel it move is because u already know what to expect, the due date on the computer is very acurate, they got my second child right on the nose so the dates are usually right,

They overshot my due date by 2 weeks using the ultrasound to date it. lol they tried to tell me I should have had two periods in one month and that I must have forgotten when the first one was....but that's not exactly something you'd forget. Going by when I knew I had  my last period, she was born almost exactly on the due date I came up with on the computer. I felt her move really early too, don't worry, I don't think you're crazy. You don't forget that feeling, it's a one of a kind feeling!

We started feeling movement somewhere between 12 and 15 weeks, I think. And the docs told me that early ultrasounds are pretty accurate with the due date. It's the later ones that aren't so much. Once the baby really starts growing big time, it goofs with things I guess. Early on the stages are clearer. That's what I was told.

Congrats and good luck!

my due dates have been off by 2-3 weeks but thats due to me being so small it think and my poor lil cervix can only handle so much!! but yes, I swear i felt all my babies before the 15 weeks mark. and alot of ob's will say if you have had more than one baby or are really thin you can feel them sooner. which was the case with me!

I am only about 9 and a half weeks and I could swear I have felt the baby move a few times. I don't feel it all the time, but I swear I have felt the baby move. I have already had two ultrasounds. They have a difference of 5 days between the two saying how far along I am.
