Suggestions anyone?

I am 36wks 2days and have been swelling/retaining fluid in my feet and hands like crazy. I have done everything the DR has told me to do like stay off my feet, drink lots of water (I drink 3+ quarts a day), lying down on my left side, warm baths, etc. nothing works. My feet are worse than my hands, and they HURT really bad. I was just wondering if any of you ladies have any other suggestions.  BTW the DR does not seemed to be concerned about it. Thanks for all your help!

i had swelling with my first around 38 weeks...my doc said it had to do with her positioning and me being on my feet so much...dunno if thats what it could be with you or not though...did he say why he could be concerned..i know sometimes it has to do with BP...but not 100% on that
