Painful kicks

I am currently 31 1/2 weeks pregnant with my second child. Over the last few days it's gotten extremely painful when she moves. I feel these sharp pains wherever she hits me. I didn't have this problem with my first child. I also have a fetal heart monitor like they have at the hospital, and her heartbeat sounds fine, should i be worried, or is this normal?

I have the same issue, and I didn't with my first either.. this 2nd pregnancy has been so completely different than my first in so many ways, but yes I think it's normal..if you're really worried just talk to your doc though.

I remember with my first it felt like he was doing acrobatics inside me! You could literally see my stomach bulge and watch the bulge move from one side to the other. It was kinda freaky at times. It hurt too. I'm not far enough along yet to feel this one move, but am excited until he/she starts tearing me up inside!

Right around 30 weeks it got extremely painful when my daughter moved. She was in the same position during my entire pregnancy, and my Dr. said that the inside of my uterus was probably bruised. She said this was fairly common.

Every once and a while I'll get one of those painful kicks.... I'm 34 weeks. I have a co-worker that told me that when she was preggo with her daughter she'd kick so hard that she would get bruised ribs.
