I'm almost 35 weeks pregnant with #3.  My last baby 4 weeks early and I'm high risk for premature labor again this time.  I'm getting less and less worried lately since I've made it this far already.  Right now I'm 1cm dialated and the baby is at -2 station.  I lost my mucus plug yesterday.  I've been having contractions for weeks now, but nothing consistant to worry about.  I never lost my mucus plug with my either of my 1st two so it just got me wondering...

My first was the only one that I ever noticed losing the plug all at once with....I went into labor about 3 days later. My second was premature and I don't recall losing it or having any mucus passage at all prior to labor. With all the rest I lost the mucus plug over the course of a few weeks, with it really getting super heavy nasty and thick the last couple of days.

My water broke around 10pm, got in the shower about 12pm and lost my mucus plug then had my ds 11 hours later...

---Someone asked me, what's one thing that you wish you could change about yourself and before thinking, I said I wish I wasn't so compassionate.  I wished that when someone came to be with a personal problem I didn't take it on as my own burden.  A voice said to me "But haven't I been compassionate towards you?"  Just then I realized that being compassionate and sensitive is gift from God that I've learned to love and appreciate...---

With my first son I lost my plug at 38 weeks and had him at 41 weeks 4 days.

With number 2 I lost my mucus plug at 11:30 pm, and had my son at 8 am the next morning.

I never lost it that I saw with my first.  With my second I lost parts of it and that started happening about 2 weeks prior although the amount I lost increased about 3 days before I went into labor.

I typically don't lose mine unless I'm in labor. My last prg I started losing it in the afternoon and was in active labor by 11:30 that night. GL though!
