I had this with my son and one thing I noticed I got a lot of was a burning pain in the top of my uterus like maybe even my stomach. It hurt but not to bad but nothing would relieve it.It wasn't heartburn thats for sure.I've recently started to get it again and I wondered if anyone else thats had either one of these has ever had this pain.I'm wondering if its a symptom to getting it because I got it before they found out I had the PIH and then I ended up with the pre-e.Anyone else have this burning pain?So far thats all I have right now.

I didnt experience that with my pregnancy. Here's a bump for you though. =)

I am currently on bedrest due to PIH and it's my second time around!  I did this exact same thing with my daughter during my pregancy with her.  I never had that burning pain.  I had heartburn, but it was always mild-ish.  My PIH suddenly appeared at the 30 week visit.  Both last time and this time.  I had no warning either time.  Sorry I'm no help momma, but here's hoping you don't get the PIH/pre-e this time around!

I had severe pre-e with my oldest. She had to be delivered by emergency c-section at 27 weeks. Anyway, hypertension can cause what it called right upper-quadrant pain. It is from the your liver being inflamed. It is said to feel like heartburn. Personally, it did not feel like it was on one side or the other. It felt like what I imagine heartburn would feel like, but I have never had heartburn. I would look into it some and find out if that is what you are experiencing. I hope this helps!

I had PIH but not that pain you're talking about.

I had preeclampsia with my first, but never had any pain because of it.

I have what my Dr calls Severe PIH. Im on 400 mg of Labetalol a day becaue of it. I havent had the burning pain at all, but my Dr & specialist both said my major uncomfort is most likely because of it. I also feel exhausted from it during the day even when I dont do anything. Im 28/4 today & I cant wait for this pregnancy thing to be over with. Im SOOOOO done!!! lol.

I had pre-e with my second, but the only pains I had were associated with my hugely swollen feet and legs. I also had sciatica, but that had nothing to do with the pre-e. Hopefully you can get your answer. GL

PIH & Pre-e can be easily remedied, reversed and controlled.

You should be consuming at least 70g of protein a day. This is the most important thing you can do! Every pregnant woman should strive for this regardless but especially those prone to PIH or pre-e.

Don't cut out salt, doing so will increase edema. Your blood sodium needs salt. Switch to sea salt.

Drink Dandelion and Nettle herbal teas throughout pregnancy. At least 2 cups of each per day. All women should be drinking Red Raspberry Leaf tea. This can be found in health food stores and GNC.
